Gators Fall to Mitchell, Wolverines
|
The Michigan Wolverines met little resistance from the Florida Gators, beating them 14-3 at Ballpark of Bismarck College. Jeff Mitchell led the way. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 5 runs and driving in 4 for Michigan. The wins continue to add up for Michigan, with the latest making it 7 in a row.
Matt Tate did his part for the Wolverines, producing a 2-run double in the top of the third inning. For the game, the designated hitter went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
