Tigers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Cowboys
Auburn got a strong outing from Craig Powell as the Tigers defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 4-2, at Zodiac Ballpark. The Tigers have now won 5 straight.

Mark Cates provided some late-game heroics for Auburn. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a 2-run single. It came on a full count fastball from Tucker Griffin and propelled Auburn to a 4-2 lead.

Powell said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a pretty good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
