Alex House had a good game, but he could not keep the Arkansas Razorbacks from falling, 9-6, to the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Canaries Ballpark. The Arkansas designated hitter went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs in the loss. Ed Brooks earned the save, his 6th. Oklahoma State occupies 12th place in the Ron Fraser Division at 17-16.
Steven Thompson contributed to the Oklahoma State win. The 19-year old first baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Thompson was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Oklahoma State Cowboys manager Carlton Price. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
