Alabama third baseman Jack Fullerton was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Alabama. Alabama reliever Steven Williamson was credited with the win, to go to 3-1. Doug Fox took the loss for Arkansas. The save went to Ray Burns, his 7th this season.
Willow Creek, California-born Wayne Ford came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd and the Crimson Tide trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run home run to left-center to put Alabama on top.
Fullerton called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
Alabama is now riding a 3-game win streak.
