Indiana State beat Michigan, 6-5. The win in part was due to center fielder Logan Moore, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Brandon Simms picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Kurt Kendall was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Sycamores have a record of 10-16.

Jesús Romero was the walk-off hero for Indiana State. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Indiana State second baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Romero said.
