|
North Carolina used a superb performance from starting pitcher Tim Collins to down the Auburn Tigers, 7-1. In 6 innings, Collins surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Christian Jacobs recorded the save for North Carolina, his 1st of the season.
