Larcombe Brings A-Game, Black Knights Beat Beavers
In a well-pitched game between the Brooklyn Black Knights and the Portland Beavers, pitcher Rod Larcombe was fantastic. The Brooklyn right-hander was named the player of the game in Brooklyn's 2-0 win. Tokaji Goto converted his 10th save in 11 tries. The Black Knights now own a record of 26-33.

Larcombe earned the win to move to 5-3. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 1 hits, striking out 8 and walking 4. The right-hander allowed the Beavers few scoring opportunities.

"We did just enough to win," Larcombe said.
