Ohio State rode a fine outing from starter Dave Johnston to victory over the Oklahoma Sooners at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. The final score was 4-2. With the win, the Buckeyes improved to 11-14.

Marcus Evans had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Buckeyes. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Ohio State trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Evans said after the game.
