Late Magic Gets Tennessee 3-2 Win
The Volunteers had to overcome a fine effort from Miami pitcher Alberto García to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Madera College Grounds. García went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Wesley Head got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.2 innings. This win makes it 5 in a row for Tennessee.

The Volunteers got a clutch hit from Matt O'Reilly with no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. O'Reilly jumped on a 1-1 cutter from Alex Miller and hit a single, staking his club to a 2-1 lead.

"It was a good effort all around," said O'Reilly.
