A 4-RBI performance from Wiley Smith, who leads the TML with a .371 batting average, helped the Bloomington Blazers beat the Las Vegas Gamblers, 11-4. Bloomington starter Lou Latulippe was credited with the win after throwing 117 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 4-6. The Blazers raised their record to 22-35.

In the bottom of the 3rd, the Blazers grabbed the lead on a two-out single by Clinton Miller. Bloomington at the time was trailing 1-0, but Miller's 2-run single off Fred Butler put his team in front.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Miller.
