The Dallas Texans got a stellar performance from pitcher Bei Law, who handcuffed the South Carolina offense en route to a 7-2 win at Metroplex Park. Dallas is now 27-31, South Carolina 31-25.

Jeff Smith played a key role in the win for the Texans. The designated hitter punched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Smith was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I really like what we did out there today," Law said after the game.
