The San Francisco Earthquakes got their 2028 season off and running with a win over the Bloomington Blazers at Golden Gate Park. The final score was 3-1. San Francisco pitcher Jo-hsi Sang was named player of the game. Jonathan Martin earned the save for San Francisco, his 1st of the year.
