Berserkers Roll Over Grays, 11-3
|
The Minnesota Berserkers met little resistance from the Georgia Grays, beating them 11-3 at The Death Star. Joaquín Rodríguez led the way. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for Minnesota. Minnesota reliever José Delgado picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-0. Orlando Días was collared with the loss. With the win over Georgia, the Berserkers improved to 23-34.
Jim Burry did his part for the Berserkers, producing a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the third baseman went 2-5 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Burry.
