Seminoles Shut Out Gators
|
The Florida State Seminoles and starting pitcher Octávio Shaw stifled the Florida offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at Ballpark of Riverdale College. Shaw got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 1 hits and walked 4 over 5 innings. Shaw allowed no earned runs. The 11th-place Seminoles have won 4 straight games.
Marvin Valcour contributed to the Florida State cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the second inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, propelling Florida State to the win.
