Michigan Wolverines starter Jim Fisher had all his pitches working at Siege Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Michigan win over the Oklahoma Sooners. Michigan, now 5-3, has played well in the early going.

Shawn Smith made an early impact for Michigan when he stroked his 3rd hit of the season. The 2-run single, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Wolverines on top, 3-0.
