North Carolina rode a fine outing from starter Vaughn Byerly to victory over the Florida State Seminoles at Bruisers Ballpark. The final score was 4-1. Byerly picked up the win for North Carolina, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The win takes North Carolina to 5-2.
