The Commodores had to overcome a good performance from Clemson pitcher Jake Adkins to claim a 1-0 win at Magistrates Ballpark. Adkins went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Vanderbilt reliever Robert Rasmussen was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jake Adkins. The Commodores, now 5-1, have been on a roll in the early going.
