The Miami Hurricanes beat the Oklahoma Sooners, 10-7, in 11 innings. Miami designated hitter Stanton Miller merited player of the game honors with his performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win leaves Miami with a record of 3-2.

Mac Ryan's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a cutter from Dave Wiley for a 3-run home run. It put Miami in front, 10-7.
