The Oklahoma State Cowboys ushered in the 2028 season with a win versus the Kansas Jayhawks at Canaries Ballpark. The final score was 17-7. First Baseman Mike Lee was named player of the game.

With Oklahoma State trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Lee hit a fastball from Scott Ramírez for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Cowboys ahead, 5-3.

"Feels good to get the job done," Lee said after the game.
