|
The St. Paul Saints trumped the Baltimore Blue Claws, 5-3, at Old Bay Park. St. Paul first baseman Gilles Petit was named player of the game for his performance. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tso-i Rui got the win, improving to 3-2. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 1. The 4th-place Saints raised their record to 56-60.
St. Paul took the lead in the top of the fifth when Petit hit a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season made the score 3-2, St. Paul.
