The Cyclones had to overcome a fine performance from Barrow pitcher Hyun-jung Kim to grab a 6-2 win at Coney Island Coliseum. Kim allowed no earned runs over 5.2 innings. Carl Cozens was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts. Coney Island is 49-67 and Barrow, with the loss, 65-51.

With Coney Island trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, the Cyclones fortunes got a boost when third baseman Noriaki Hatsutori turned a 1-2 fastball from Jeremy Shaw into his 6th home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Coney Island up, 2-1.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Hatsutori told the Coney Island News.
