The Mustangs grabbed a win, 6-5, at Saints Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from St. Paul pitcher Jeffrey McDonald. McDonald went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Earning his 26th save of the year was Luis Domínguez. The Mustangs move to 67-45 with the win, while the Saints drop to 55-58.
Parking one for San Angelo was Manny Silva. The right fielder had a 3-run home run in the top of the second for the Mustangs. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Silva went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
