The Cyclones had to overcome a good performance from Victoria pitcher Yoshimochi Chikuda to claim a 3-2 win at The drakkar. Chikuda went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Their 43-62 record puts the Cyclones 5th in the Buck O'Neil League Mariner Moose Division.

Da-xia Ta made it 3-2 in favor of Coney Island when he delivered a solo home run. It came with no one out in the top of the eighth. The Cyclones went on to win.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Charles Luce.
