Blue Claws Squelch New Orleans Offense in Shutout Win
Larry Sloan was instrumental in his team's 4-0 triumph over the New Orleans Jedi Knights. The first baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Baltimore Blue Claws. Paolo Jens got the win, improving to 5-4. He held the Jedi Knights to 0 runs on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 4. Baltimore is now 55-43. New Orleans is 62-35.

Hisamitsu Kondo struck a blow for the Blue Claws in the top of the fourth when he hit a 2-run home run. It put his team ahead, 2-0. For the game, Kondo was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
