Knights Clip Vikings in Tight Contest
The Knights had to overcome a fine performance from Victoria pitcher Yoshimochi Chikuda to grab a 6-3 win at The drakkar. Chikuda allowed no earned runs over 5.2 innings. With the win, Kingwood goes to 36-60, while the Vikings fall to 48-48.

Runs were at a premium. So, Jim Unknown's at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth was crucial. The Kingwood left fielder hit a run-scoring single, to give his team a 3-2 lead.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Unknown told the Kingwood News.
