Victoria rode a good effort from starter Juan Cruz to beat the Kingwood Knights at The drakkar. The final score was 4-2. Mal Goff was called on to finish, recording his 6th save. Victoria is now 48-47.

Chris Griffin contributed to the Victoria win. The 21-year old right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Griffin was 1 for 4 with a double.

"Juan's tempo and rhythm were good," said Victoria Vikings manager Charles Luce. "He was the key to us winning."
