Bloodhounds Get One-Run Win at Charleston
|
The Boise Bloodhounds had to overcome a big game from Charleston first baseman Jorge Rodríguez to leave Franklin Mountains Field with a 6-5 victory. Rodríguez was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. Albert Franchi got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Panthers, at 36-58, have lost 4 straight games.
Boise third baseman Fei-hsien Sha helped the Bloodhounds go up, 4-3, in the top of the third inning. With the game tied, Sha hit a run-scoring single off Charleston pitcher Ben Larsen.
