Prowlers Pin 3-2 Loss on Toreros
|
Oklahoma City Prowlers starter Benjamin Bertrand was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 3-2. Oklahoma City reliever Mike Bouffard picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Chris Wheeler shouldered the loss. Tadaaki Tahara got credit for the save for Oklahoma City. It was his 10th of the year.
Oklahoma City took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when David Lewis hit a clutch solo home run to bring Prowlers fans to their feet.
"We put together a nice win," Bertrand said.
The Prowlers move to 30-24 with the win, while the Toreros drop to 26-29.
