Morita, San Angelo Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a well-pitched game between the San Angelo Mustangs and the New Orleans Jedi Knights, pitcher Kunihiko Morita was superb. The San Angelo right-hander was named the player of the game in San Angelo's 2-0 win. Luis Domínguez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 21st save. The third-place Mustangs are now 57-37, the Jedi Knights 61-33.

Morita tossed 91 pitches over 6.2 innings to clinch the win for the Mustangs. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Mathew Thomas. "That was the problem."
