Vikings Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Victoria Vikings downed the Nichols Gnats, 8-3, in 10 innings. Pedro Moreno led the way, going 3-for-6 for Victoria. The Vikings have now won 11 straight.

One important at-bat for Victoria came with two out in the top of the tenth inning. With the bases loaded, Moreno hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Vikings win.

"It's good to win," Moreno told the Victoria Gazette. "I like to have fun doing it."
