Bloodhounds Fall to Spear, Jedi Knights
|
The New Orleans Jedi Knights thumped the Boise Bloodhounds, 10-2, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Bruno Spear was a big reason his team got the win. Spear was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Dao-zi Chou, the winner, improved to 8-3. He held the Bloodhounds to 1 runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 2. New Orleans has now won 3 in a row.
Spear's nice game included a clutch 2-run single in the top of the first.
"I hope we get a nice reward for this win," said Spear. "Like maybe a lighter workout schedule."
