Vikings Win Again, Extend Streak to 8
|
The exploits of shortstop Ed Weston helped the Victoria Vikings defeat the St. Paul Saints, 7-1. Weston was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Juan Cruz, the winner, improved to 7-5. He held the Saints to 1 runs on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Victoria has now won 8 games in a row.
