Vikings Reel Off Another Win
|
Victoria left-hander Maurice Bignold was sensational in shutting out the St. Paul Saints, 4-0. Louie Radcliff picked up the save for Victoria, his 2nd of the year. Victoria has now won 6 straight.
With Victoria leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Phil Parker hit a run-scoring triple off St. Paul pitcher Izo Rin. It put the Vikings ahead 2-0.
"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Charles Luce.
