Trump Jr. hits 2 home runs as Panthers Squeeze Past Barrow

Charleston beat Barrow at Franklin Mountains Field, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to designated hitter Donald Trump Jr., who earned player of the game honors. Eric Alexander got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Victor Hernandez converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.
Charleston took a 4-2 lead on Trump Jr.'s 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Takehide Sato in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Charleston to the win.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Charleston manager Todd Hall. "It's usually not just one thing."
The 'W' lifts Charleston's record to 36-54.
