Cyclones Rally For Late Win Over Mustangs
The San Angelo Mustangs got a superb performance from pitcher Kunihiko Morita. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Coney Island. The Cyclones won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Morita was named the player of the game. He threw 5 innings allowing 2 runs. Coney Island is 5th in the Buck O'Neil League Mariner Moose Division with a record of 36-54.

Paul Martin had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth for the Cyclones. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Coney Island trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double.

"It was a good effort all around," said Martin.
