Barrow got an elite performance from starting pitcher Takehide Sato in taking a 3-1 decision over the Boise Bloodhounds. Barrow reliever Paul Murat picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-7. Arsenio Ranho was collared with the loss. Tokuhei Yano closed the game out for Barrow, earning his 10th save.
In the bottom of the 6th, first baseman Máximo Duarte gave Barrow the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Frosties had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out single off Boise pitcher Arsenio Ranho changed that -- and Barrow went on to win.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Boise manager Royce Dale.
The Frosties raised their record to 46-39.
