|
The Chippewa River Chiefs got a good effort from starter Willi Kehr in defeating the Baltimore Blue Claws at Old Bay Park. The final score was 4-2. Baltimore now has a 5-game losing streak.
Also having an impact was third baseman Yoshino Sugimoto, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the first for Chippewa. For the game, Sugimoto went 1 for 3.
"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager David Parker.
