Boise pitcher Albert Franchi did his part in helping his team beat the Coney Island Cyclones, 12-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. At 34-49, the Bloodhounds are currently 6th in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when shortstop Esteban Oliveira drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Bloodhounds went on to win.
