The San Angelo Mustangs wiggled past the Victoria Vikings, 4-3, at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. San Angelo pitcher Marcos Colón earned player of the game honors. San Angelo is second in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division with a record of 48-30.

The game came to an abrupt end with one out in the bottom of the 11th. On a pitch from Mal Goff, Jim Unknown hit a sacrifice fly. It gave San Angelo the 4-3 walk-off win.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Victoria manager Charles Luce.
