The St. Paul Saints wasted an impressive 5-inning effort from starter Ju-ao Ru, falling 2-1 to the Winfield Warriors at The Barn. Winfield reliever Naganori Sakaguchi got the win, raising his record to 6-0. Ju-ao Ru was tagged with the loss. Conor Temple finished the game for Winfield and earned his 7th save.

Iván Pérez, the Winfield catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 2-1, Warriors. For the game, Pérez was 2-4 with 2 singles.
