In a low-scoring clash between Nichols and San Angelo, pitcher Kazuhiro Kamida was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Nichols in the 3-1 win. Kamida picked up the win for Nichols, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 6-7. Katsuyuki Noguchi finished the game for Nichols and earned his 1st save.
