Boise pitcher Albert Franchi gave the Vikings all they could handle, but in the end, Victoria left The drakkar with a 8-2 win. Franchi allowed no earned runs on no hits over 5.1 innings. The Vikings, at 31-42, have now won 4 straight.

Canada-born Lee Cong came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded and the Vikings trailing 2-1, he hit a bases-clearing triple to center to put Victoria on top.
