Jedi Knights Lose, 6-2, at The Reservation
|
Chippewa River Chiefs starter Felipe Arreola kept the New Orleans Jedi Knights hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Chippewa reliever Ben Crabb was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Dave Munier took the loss. The Jedi Knights, at 48-24, have lost 4 straight games.
Chippewa took a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Yan-hao Lao hit a clutch grand slam home run to bring River Chiefs fans to their feet.
"Good win for us," said Arreola. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
