The Baltimore Blue Claws went home winners at Old Bay Park, thanks in large part to starter Randy Gould. Gould silenced the Winfield Warriors, enabling Baltimore to grab the 5-1 win. Gould went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 6-3. Tim Stady was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 25 save opportunities.

With no one out in the bottom of the fourth, Yo Luo stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 63rd hit of the season and put Baltimore in front, 2-1.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Luo.

Baltimore has now reeled off 7 straight wins.
