The Victoria Vikings defeated the Barrow Frosties, 8-6, at The drakkar. Victoria catcher Phil Parker was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Victoria reliever Timothy Hill picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Cecilio Friuli shouldered the loss. Joe Edwards was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.

Tae-kyun Kim came through for Victoria when he hit a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a full count fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 7-5 lead.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Kim, "but we got it done."

Victoria now sits at 27-41, while Barrow falls to 38-30.
