A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Marcos Vallejo led the Coney Island Cyclones to a 7-4 win over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Coney Island goes to 27-40, Chippewa to 37-30.

Jorge Castellanos was a key contributor to the win for the Cyclones. In the top of the seventh with one out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a double to left-center. He was 1-2 with a double.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Vallejo said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
