Gómez Shines in Frosties Win
Barrow shortstop Nick Gómez had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 7-5 win over the Nichols Gnats. Atsushi Ikarashi, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. Ken Morita converted his 8th save in 11 tries.

Had Denzel Drewry not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Drewry hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Frosties.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Gómez.

Barrow now sits in third place in the Buck O'Neil League Mariner Moose Division at 36-29.
