Emeralds Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Emeralds had to overcome a fine effort from Chippewa pitcher Kichibei Endo to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Prefontaine Park. Endo went 6.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Eugene has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Eugene trailing 3-2, Justin Salviati hit a cutter from George Fortin Jr. to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Emeralds had a walk-off win.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Tom Becker, the Eugene skipper. "This one tested us."
