The Baltimore Blue Claws thumped the Boise Bloodhounds, 10-2, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Tobias Zeiler was a big reason his team got the win. Zeiler went 2-3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The save went to Jun Sasaki, his 2nd this season. The first-place Blue Claws lifted their record to 37-25.

In the top of the fourth, Kazuhiro Nozara had a big run-scoring single off Tony Ruíz. With the single, the Baltimore shortstop put his team in front, 3-2. He went 1 for 6 in the contest.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Nozara told the Baltimore News.
