The Eugene Emeralds defeated the Victoria Vikings, 5-4, at The drakkar. Eugene right fielder Aki Daijo was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Eugene reliever Javier Ballina picked up the win, upping his record to 7-4. Timothy Hill absorbed the loss. Eugene has now won 3 straight, while the Vikings have lost 3 in a row.
